A work from my suite of etchings made during my final year at the National Art School in 2021. All of which are appropriated from the Renaissance paintings of Carlo Crivelli.
This work is a reflection of the many screw ups committed by Scott Morrison during his time as Prime Minister. I decided to depict him as Christ due to his well known Christian faith and the irony of the fact that he couldn’t be any more disparate from a man like Jesus if he tried.
Aquatint etching on Hahnemühle, 70 x 86cm. Edition of 4. Edition 1/4 is framed with the dimensions of 86 x 99.5cm
